45th Annual FWRC J.P. Jones Just Plain 10k Run/Walk, 3.3k Run/Walk, and Breakfast Picnic
The Fort Wayne Running Club presents a points race and breakfast picnic at Foster Park Pavilion #1, 3900 Old Mill Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46807. The event is family friendly and held in memory of a FWRC member. The course follows the paved walk and run path at Foster Park and continues out and back on the paved path south of the park.
Race options include:
- 10 km Run/Walk
- 3.3 km (2 miles) Run/Walk
All finishers will receive Sweet Life Honey Farm honey provided by the family of J.P. Jones. A breakfast picnic will be available with food items such as fruit, assorted baked goods, cereal, trail mix, granola, milk, yogurt, and nuts. Organizers request wrapped t-shirt donations, marked with size, for distribution to local organizations including Wellspring Interfaith Social Services and Adult Life Day Academy.
Registration details in effect for the event include an early fee period through May 22, 2026 with a member rate and a higher fee after that date. Online registration closes June 4, 2026. Day of registration and pre-registered packet pick up and check in take place at Foster Park Pavilion #1. Checks are payable to Fort Wayne Running Club.
