Frozen Sasquatch is a winter trail race held in Kanawha State Forest, south of Charleston, West Virginia. The 2026 edition is the 16th running and is the West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners club's first race of the year. The event offers two distances, both based on the same loop course.

Course and logistics
The course is a 15.8 mile loop; 50K runners complete two loops. The route begins with a steady incline to the top of the mountain and mostly follows single-track trails through the forested hills. The course often has snow cover in winter, with brighter sun exposure during the second loop. Race-day packet pickup is available at the pool parking lot in Kanawha State Forest, and pre-race pickup is offered at Robert’s Run Walk Shop in South Charleston on the Friday before the race.
