Event Overview
The Frosty Five: Costume Fun Run is held at Pearsall Park in San Antonio, Texas. Now in its 10th year, this holiday themed gathering emphasizes health, fitness, and community support. The timed competitive event includes professional race timing by IAAP and age group awards provided by E-Dragon Productions. Those registered for the timed event receive a long sleeve shirt and a Frosty medal. The free fun run option does not include a finishers medal, as it is designed for a casual morning activity with friends and family. A virtual option is also available for those who wish to complete the distance from any location, with the option to have a race packet shipped.
The event serves as a donation drive for Street2Feet, a non-profit organization that assists the homeless community through running programs. Attendees are encouraged to contribute monetary donations or provide gently used athletic apparel and running shoes to support the organization's mission of providing training, gear, and race entries to its athletes.
