Event overview
The Frosty Five is a 10th annual 5K running event held on December 20, 2025, at Pearsall Park, 4838 Old Pearsall Rd, San Antonio, TX 78242. The event program includes:
- 5K non-timed Costume Fun Run
- 5K Timed Competitive Event
- 5K Around the World Virtual Run
Registration and entitlements
The non-timed fun run has free admission. The timed competitive event has a fee and includes entry benefits: a snow globe-style medal for the first 150 timed registrants and a long-sleeve shirt for the first 120 timed registrants. The virtual event has a separate registration fee. The event encourages donations of gently used athletic apparel, running shoes, and monetary gifts to the Street2Feet non-profit; the prior year collected over ten bags of apparel and over $1,000 for Street2Feet. Age group awards are given for the timed event with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Edragon coins for the top three in each age group: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Logistics and race operations
Packet pickup for timed runners is provided on race morning under the E-Dragon Productions tent. IAAP will handle timing and results for the timed event; the fun run is not timed. There is a water stop at about 1 mile and cups available at the finish. Strollers and pets that are safe around people are permitted when started from the back. Parking is available at the Pearsall Park area, with two additional west lots that require more walking. Costumes are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
