About the race

Frost Country is a fall trail event in Ottawa presenting a cross country-style course over varied surfaces. The course includes grass, gravel, a section referred to as The Hill, and may include hay bales. The event offers two distances:

Kids 2K (ages 5–16)

Registration includes a personalized race bib, professional race timing with chip time results, and post-race snacks and beverages. Only participants registered before October 29 will have their names printed on their bibs. Parents and guardians may accompany younger participants in the 2K event.

The event date is Saturday, November 7, 2026. Location, bib pickup, and event parking are listed as TBA. Fees listed for the event are: 6K Adult $39.38 + HST; 6K Youth (ages 12–24) $28.13 + HST; Kids 2K (ages 5–16) $16.88 + HST.
