Freiberger Bürgerfestlauf
The Freiberger Bürgerfestlauf, organized by TuS Freiberg, is one of the largest citizen festival runs in Germany. After a six-year hiatus, the run returns in 2024, offering distances from 600 meters to 5 kilometers. Over 1700 participants are expected, and the event concludes with a citizen festival on the market square, featuring live music.
The run also celebrates the 125th anniversary of TuS 1899 Freiberg e.V. and includes new categories such as student and toddler runs, as well as a corporate competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
