Freedom Ultra Festival - Bonney Lake, WA
The Freedom Ultra Festival takes place September 4–8, 2026, on private Kearin Family Farm near Bonney Lake, Washington. All events use the same looped course of approximately 3.1 miles (about 5K) per lap. The course runs partly on the farm and partly on an adjacent paved trail system.
The layout centers on a single Race HQ and one large central aid station, so runners remain close to gear and crew during laps. About half the route is gravel, dirt, and grass, and the other half is paved trail. Free camping is available adjacent to the course beginning the day before the event and continuing through the end of the festival. Runners complete laps until they finish their event or withdraw.
The festival offers a range of distance and timed events with published total elevation gain for each distance. Some races explicitly require no qualification to enter. The 200 Mile event allows 96 hours for completion. All events are looped to simplify logistics and crew access. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
