Freedom Run - Woodward Park
The Freedom Run takes place on July 4, 2026 at Woodward Park - Sunset View Shelter in Fresno, California. The program includes in-person race options and a virtual option that lets participants run or walk on their own course.
Distances and formats offered:
- 4 Miles - 4 Mile Run and Veterans 4 Mile Run
- 2 Miles - 2 Mile Run/Walk and Veterans 2 Mile Run/Walk
- 400 Yards - Kids races, ages 8 and under; 1/4 mile and 100 yard dash
- Virtual - run or walk independently; shirt mailed after event
In-person entries include an American Flag themed T-shirt, water and food at the finish area, and timed results or chip timing with awards for top three in age groups for applicable races. Kids entries include an event shirt, food at the finish, and a finisher's ribbon. The virtual option provides an event shirt mailed to the registered address; there are no awards and no official results for virtual participants. The event also notes a commemorative finisher medal.
