Frampton 10k
This event is an accurately measured 10 km road race through the village of Frampton-on-Severn (GL2 7EP), about two miles west of M5 Junction 13. The course is described as flat and fast and a route is available on Strava. The race is organised by Stroud AC and holds a UKA licence (#30699) and a Certificate of Accuracy.
Prizes are awarded as vouchers for Bateman Sports: individuals 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female (£50 / £30 / £20) and teams (three runners per team) 1st, 2nd and 3rd (£90 / £60 / £30). Age categories start at Vet 40 (V40, V45, V50, V55, V60, V65, V70, etc); there is an associated free entry to the Stroud 10k in October for those categories noted.
There is a strict race cut-off of 90 minute; the course will close and no finish times will be issued after that limit. Facilities are limited: there are no changing rooms, showers, or managed bag drop. Race transfers can be made online via the eventrac platform up until June 1st at 23:59 to allow despatch of race numbers. Ticket presale for Stroud & District AC members begins 24 hours before general release, with general release on February 27th at 12:00. Parking is signed on approach to the village.
