Event Information
The Fragile X 5K is a walk and run event for Fragile X syndrome. It takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This is the 13th annual edition. The location is Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas, California.
The Cause
Fragile X syndrome (FXS) is described as a leading cause of inherited intellectual disability and a leading single-gene cause of autism. The event supports the Fragile X Association of Southern California (Fraxsocal). Its mission includes promoting public awareness, providing a forum for affected families to connect, and supporting research for treatments and a cure.
Event Format
The event features a single 5K distance for running or walking. Participants are also invited to bike, scoot, or stroll, described as a family-friendly activity. A Family Fun Day with food and activities is scheduled after the walk/run. Participants can sign up to participate in person or virtually. The event has a fundraising goal.
Participant Details
