Founding Fathers 5K Run & Walk
The event takes place in Vermillion on July 4, 2026, with the course beginning and ending in Prentis Park near the North Shelter. The route follows West Clark to Carr Street, then uses the bike paths along Cherry Street to Pine before returning to Prentis Park.

- 5K run
- 5K walk
The walk is explicitly non-competitive. Awards will be presented to top finishers in each age group and for best dressed, with an awards ceremony at the main stage near the Shakespeare grotto before the Fourth of July program begins.
