About the race
The Forty Fort Cemetery event on September 12, 2026 takes place at Forty Fort Cemetery, 20 River Street, Forty Fort, PA. The event combines timed runs, a walk option, a short kids race, and a historical element tied to the cemetery grounds.
Distances offered:
- 5K run
- 5K walk (possible short cut)
- 10K run (ends with historical tour of cemetery and meeting house)
- Kid's Run 0.5 miles
General registration for the main events opens April 4, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. Kid's Run registration opens July 17, 2026 and closes September 9, 2026. Registrants who register by August 31 receive a commemorative race tee. Same-day registration is available.
Pre-race packet pickup is at Valley Running, 900 Rutter Ave, Kingston, PA on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Parking for the event is at the Forty Fort Soccer Complex, located just before the Forty Fort Airport.
All finishers in the 5K walk, 5K run and 10K run receive an event medal. Awards for the 5K and 10K include overall male and female top three and male and female age-group awards by decade up to 70 and over, with top three in each category.
