Forty Fort Cemetery 3rd Annual Walk/5K/10K
The event takes place on September 12, 2026 at 20 River Street, Forty Fort, PA. It is organized to raise funds for the Forty Fort Cemetery Association and includes running and walking options along with a historical component.
Distances offered:
- 0.5 miles Kid's Run
- 5 km Walk with a possible short cut
- 5 km Run
- 10 km Run that finishes with a historical walking tour of the cemetery and meeting house
Registration opens April 4, 2026. Early registration is available through August 31, 2026; early fees are $25 for the 5K walk and 5K run, and $35 for the 10K. Day of registration fees are listed as $35 for the 5K walk and run, and $45 for the 10K. The Kid's Run is free at registration.
All finishers in the 5K walk, 5K run, and 10K run receive an event medal. Registrants who register by August 31 receive a commemorative race tee. Awards are presented for overall male and female top three, and male and female top three within age groups 19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus.
Parking is at the Forty Fort Soccer Complex near the Forty Fort Airport. Pre-race packet pickup is at Valley Running, 900 Rutter Ave, Kingston, PA on September 10 and September 11 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
