Fort Wayne Marathon & Half
The event takes place on April 26, 2026, at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It offers both a full marathon and a half marathon and is limited to 2000 total racers.
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Participants must be at least 13 years old by December 31, 2025. The marathon is Boston qualifier certified and the event is USATF sanctioned. The race is professionally chip timed and results are posted live as runners finish.
The courses begin at the Memorial Coliseum, run toward downtown on Parnell and St Joe Boulevard, cross downtown on Main Street, and continue along the River Greenway system through multiple parks. Routes are flat and use paved roads and city trails. Course markings, volunteers, and police control are provided at intersections and trail crossings. Aid stations appear approximately every 1.5 miles and offer water, Gatorade, Coke, gels at select stations, and port o johns at select locations. Port o johns are available at the start and at several on course locations.
Race packets include a t shirt and bib. Finisher medals are distributed at the finish line. Age group and overall awards are given on a grab and go basis after results are confirmed. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet North and on race day at the Memorial Coliseum. Parking is available at the Coliseum, roughly $8 per day, with spaces within about a quarter mile of the start and finish.
Audio devices are allowed. The race start may be delayed up to one hour for weather, and if weather forces cancellation a 50% discount toward a future 2024/25 event may be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
