Fort Lee Running for Our Youth 5K
Fort Lee PBA Local 245 hosts the 8th annual running event on June 14, 2026, in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The event uses a USATF certified course along Abbott Blvd and includes a competitive 5K and a 1 mile fun run or walk.
- 5K Run - 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - 1 mile
Awards are presented by overall placing and by age group. Trophies or awards are given to first, second, and third overall male and female. First responder awards are given for first place only by male and female. Age-group prizes are awarded in five-year increments beginning after ages 0-9.
Packet pickup is available onsite on race day and at the community center on June 12 at 1355 Inwood Terrace. T-shirt availability is guaranteed only for participants who register by June 8. Registration opens April 4 and closes June 14. Entry fees listed for the event are $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 mile. Same day registration uses a QR code and requires a smartphone; credit card payment is accepted for race day registrations and cash or checks are not accepted.
