Formula Run 2026, Abu Dhabi
Formula Run 2026 takes place on 18 July 2026 at Ferrari World Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The event uses a looped 2.5 km course that starts inside Ferrari World adjacent to Cinema Maranello. Distances offered are:
- 2.5 km equals 1 lap
- 5 km equals 2 laps
- 10 km equals 4 laps
Race packs including race bibs and event t-shirts can be collected from the reception area at Ferrari World on the two days before the event and on event day. T-shirt sizes are subject to availability. Participants who enter multiple contests will receive one t-shirt and one medal only.
There is one self-serve water station on course with staff restocking. Runners are asked not to litter and to avoid spilling water as wet surfaces can be slippery. A bag drop is available next to the start and finish area and paid lockers are available inside Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
Parking options are available at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Mall; Grand Prix Parking and Fashion Parking are recommended as the closest to registration and the start area. Results and finishers’ certificates are published online and finishers receive a medal at the finish. Podium medals for top finishers in the age groups are presented at the La Piazza area after the runs are complete.
Basic race rules require athletes to follow event staff instructions, wear running shoes and a shirt covering the torso, keep the race number visible at the front, and avoid headphones so they can hear instructions. The race is considered finished when the runner’s upper body crosses the finish line. Age group allocations are set per distance and are based on age on the event date.
