Forfar 10K
The Forfar 10K takes place on 16 August 2026 and is organised by Forfar Road Runners. The course is accurately measured, described as fast, flat and scenic. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race.
Entry is limited to 400 runners and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. The entry deadline is 6.00pm on Friday 31 July 2026 or earlier if the race fills. There are no entries on the day. Entry fees are listed as £15 for Association of Running Clubs affiliated entrants and £17 for non affiliated entrants.
The event uses chip timing and is held under ARC rules, with ARC permit number ARC/26/0584. Prizes are awarded across multiple categories, including overall top three male and female, top three male and female V40, first male and female in V50, V60 and V70, and first male and female junior. Finishers receive a bespoke medal. The organisers note a race cut off time of 1 hour 45 minutes.
Registration and the event base are at Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar DD8 3LD. Only bone conducting headphones are permitted on the public road course.
