Forfar 10K (16 August 2026)
The Forfar 10K is an accurately measured, flat and scenic 10 km road race organised by Forfar Road Runners. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race.
The event has a limit of 400 runners and entries are accepted on a first come first served basis. The entry deadline is 31 July 2026; there will be no entries on the day. The event is currently full and a waiting list is available.
Technical and race details include chip timing, a bespoke finisher medal and a race cut off time of 1 hour 45 minutes. The race is held under Association of Running Clubs rules and carries ARC permit number ARC/26/0584.
Entry fees are £15 for Association of Running Clubs members and £17 for non affiliated entrants. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall; 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female V40; 1st male and female V50, V60 and V70; and 1st male and female junior.
Registration and the start/finish are at the Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar DD8 3LD. Runners must collect their own race number in person and random ID checks may be carried out. Only bone conduction headphones are permitted on the course. A route map is available via the Forfar Road Runners website. Car parking is available at East Greens carpark, Myre carpark and Forfar Reid Hall, a short distance from the registration and start/finish areas.
