Forfar 10K : Forfar, 16 Aug 2026
The Forfar 10k is an accurately measured, fast, flat and scenic road course organised by Forfar Road Runners and held in Forfar on 16 August 2026. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race. The field is limited to 400 runners and places are allocated on a first come first served basis; there are no entries on the day.
Features listed for the event include chip timing, a bespoke finisher medal and a range of prizes: 1st to 3rd male and female, 1st to 3rd male and female V40, first male and female in V50, V60 and V70, and first male and female junior. The race is held under Association of Running Clubs rules and carries permit number ARC/26/0584. The organiser notes a race cut off time of 1 hour 45 minutes.
Registration and the race base are at the Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar DD8 3LD. Runners must collect their own race number in person and random ID checks will be carried out; transferring numbers is against ARC rules and may lead to a one year ban from Forfar Road Runners events. Only bone conducting headphones are permitted on public roads.
Entry fees are £15 for ARC affiliated entrants and £17 for non affiliated entrants. Deferrals for one year may be offered if notified by 31 July 2026. A route map is available via Forfar Road Runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
