Forfar 10K - 16 Aug 2026
The Forfar 10K is a road race held on 16 August 2026 on an accurately measured, flat and scenic 10 km course organised by Forfar Road Runners. Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race. The field is limited to 400 runners and places are filled on a first come first served basis; there will be no entries on the day.
The event uses chip timing and finishers receive a bespoke medal. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall; 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female V40; 1st male and female V50, V60 and V70; and 1st male and female junior. The race is held under Association of Running Clubs (ARC) rules and carries permit number ARC/26/0584. The published cut off time is 1 hour 45 minutes.
Registration and the race base are at Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar DD8 3LD. Registration opens at 9:30am and closes at 10:30am; runners must collect their own race number in person and random ID checks will be carried out. Only bone conducting headphones are permitted on the public-road course. A route map is available from Forfar Road Runners. Parking is available at East Greens carpark, Myre carpark and Forfar Reid Hall. Deferrals of entry for one year may be offered if requested by 6:00pm on 31 July 2026.
