About the race
The Forfar 10K is an annual road running event organized by Forfar Road Runners, held in Forfar, Scotland. The race features a fast, flat, and accurately measured 10-kilometer course that starts and finishes at the Forfar Farmington Clubhouse. The route takes runners from Forfar into the surrounding countryside, including a minor road section with a water station, passing behind Lunanhead and near the local football ground.
The event attracts over 300 participants and offers chip timing, bespoke finisher medals, and cash or voucher prizes across various age categories. Strict rules include no headphones and in-person race number collection. The race is limited to 400 runners and follows Association of Running Clubs regulations.
