Event overview
The Fondren Urban Ultra is a 12 hour timed road race for individual runners held on April 18, 2026 in Jackson, MS at 3327 Old Canton Road. The event is chip timed and is limited to 165 individual runners. Packet pickup is available the day before at Buffalo Peak and on race morning at the start/finish area. Entry price is $50, increasing to $60 on January 1. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. Awards are given to 1st through 3rd place male and female finishers; all participants receive a medal and those who complete the ultra distance (9 laps) receive an additional item.

- 3.1 miles per loop.
- 50k, 12 hour, and 100k results recorded for Mississippi residents.
The loop runs through the Fondren neighborhood with a mix of hills and flat sections. The USATF certified 5k course number is MS17010MS. Each loop begins and ends at Fondren Church where runners may place nutrition, tents, and coolers. The course has approximately 150 feet elevation gain and loss per 5k loop. Runners may take breaks but must remain in the church parking area while off course. A full 5k lap must be completed within the 12 hour time limit to be counted.
