Flysch Trail Zumaia 2026
Flysch Trail Zumaia 2026 is a trail running event in Zumaia, Gipuzkoa, Spain, held on 3 October 2026. The races start and finish at Eusebio Gurrutxaga plaza and take place on trails along the Basque coast in a protected geopark area.
Two race distances are offered:
- 24 km: 24 km, 1,007 m ascent, 400 places, 30 €.
- 14 km: 14 km, 487 m ascent, 250 places, 20 €.
Aid stations on the 24 km route are located at Elorriaga (km 4.8 and km 17.4), Mendata (km 9.6), Errotaberri (km 13) and San Telmo (km 21.4); all provide liquids and some provide food. The 14 km route has aid stations at Elorriaga (km 4.8 and km 6.5) and San Telmo (km 10.5). Participants must carry their own drinking container because cups are not provided, and solid nutrition items must be marked with the runner number.
Total participant places across both races are 650. Registrations were managed by Kronoak via RockTheSport and took place in late March 2026 with closing in September 2026. Bib collection is organised at Casa de Cultura Alondegia, sala Oxford. The organisation provides liability and accident insurance and coordinates medical support, with collaboration from the Red Cross.
Environmental rules apply along the route; runners must use designated waste points near aid stations and may be excluded for improper littering. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
