Flying Horse Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The Flying Horse event on 11/14/2026 includes multiple running distances and a family fun run. It is presented by United Way of El Paso County and sponsored by the City of Sunland Park. The course starts and finishes at Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10k Run - 6.2 Miles
- 5k Run - 3.1 Miles
- Giddy Up Fun Run - 1 Mile
Registration information and fees are provided for each event. Registration for the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k opens 2/22/2026 and closes 4/1/2026; fees are $85, $50, and $35 respectively. Registration for the Giddy Up Fun Run opens 3/26/2026 and closes 7/7/2026; the fee is $15. The event description notes that the races accommodate both first-time runners and experienced athletes, and that the Giddy Up Fun Run takes place around the racetrack.
