13th Annual Flying Dutchmen 5k
The 13th annual Flying Dutchmen 5k is scheduled for March 21, 2026 in Orangeburg, New York at Tappan Zee High School. The course runs through the towns of Orangeburg and Blauvelt and includes split markers at the 1 and 2 mile points and a water station along the route.
Timing and results will be provided by Fulton Accurate Timing for live results. A kids run on the track for ages 9 and under is part of the event; kids receive medals and a t shirt. Awards for the 5K include male and female winners in the following age brackets: 14 and under, 15 to 18, 19 to 23, 24 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Medals are given to the first three finishers in each age group.
Online registration is noted to close on March 20. The first 150 registered runners and walkers receive a short sleeve commemorative t shirt. Race day registration is listed as available for a higher fee and is not guaranteed to include shirts. Registration and packet pick up take place in the back parking lot off of Bataan Road.
