Event Details

The 13th Annual Flying Dutchmen 5k is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026. The event is based at Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, New York.

Course and Activities

The 5k course runs through the towns of Orangeburg and Blauvelt. Splits are provided at the 1-mile and 2-mile marks, and there is a water station. The event also includes a free kids' run for participants aged 9 and under, which takes place on a track.

Registration and Support

Online registration costs $27.50 and closes on March 20. The first 150 registered runners and walkers receive a short-sleeve commemorative T-shirt. Race-day registration is available for $30. The event supports the Tappan Zee Cross Country/Track booster club.

Awards and Timing

Timing is provided by Fulton Accurate Timing (FAT) for live results. Awards are given to female and male winners in age brackets from 14 & under to 70 & over, with medals for the first three places in each group.
