Fluted Rock Marathon : Kinlichee, Arizona
The Fluted Rock event on June 27, 2026 comprises a full marathon and a half marathon held near the Kinlichee turnoff on Highway 264. The event is presented by Miss Navajo Nation together with local partners and timing support by Rocky Mountain Timing.

The course is an out and back route that starts and finishes at the Highway 264 Kinlichee turnoff and runs past the Kinlichee Chapter. The route continues north on a gravel road with gradual rolling hills and rising elevation on the outbound leg. Each race reaches a halfway turnaround point, after which the return course is described as smoother.
The route passes through the Kinlichee wash and Navajo sandstone canyon and features local scenery including grazing livestock and trees. The area includes historic Anasazi home remnants and Navajo sandstone formations.
Logistics note that results and timing are handled by Rocky Mountain Timing. The event lists 13 water stations with stations placed approximately every mile and at each race halfway point.
