Flight to the Finish
Flight to the Finish takes place at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive at Zion Park District in Zion, Illinois as part of the Zinnia and Monarch Festival. The event offers organized running activities for participants and families.
The program includes a 5K run described as a flat course and a free kids 100 meter dash for children under 10. Ribbons are awarded to the top three finishers in the kids dash.
The day also features registration, an awards program for age groups and top finishers, recognition for first time 5Kers, door prizes, T shirts, and a Bubble Bash Celebration.
Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes July 16, 2026. The standard registration fee is $35 and a $5 discount applies until July 16, 2026.
