Flight to the Finish
Flight to the Finish is a community running event held at 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive in Zion, Illinois, staged as part of the Zinnia and Monarch Festival. The program includes a short kids sprint and a 5K run, an awards presentation, and a post-race Bubble Bash celebration.

- 5K run on a flat course
- Kids 100m Dash for children under 10, free with ribbons for the top three
On the day there is a registration period before the races. The kids 100m dash is specifically for children under 10 years of age and includes awards for top finishers. The 5K includes awards by age and for overall top finishers, and there are recognitions for first time 5K participants and door prizes. A Bubble Bash celebration follows the awards.
