Flash in the Night

Flash in the Night is an evening running event held at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield, Ohio, organized by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and uses professional chip timing.

Distances:

1 mile Firefly Run/Walk (in-person and virtual)
5K Flash Run/Walk (in-person and virtual)

Registration includes a shirt, a finisher medal (Flash medal for the 5K and Firefly medal for the 1-mile) and a custom bib. The course uses paved roads within the fairgrounds and will be lit by luminaries and streetlights.

Race day packet pick-up takes place at the Cattle Arena building within the Canfield Fairgrounds from 7:00pm-8:15pm. The 5K awards recognize the top three overall men and women and the top three in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
