Event Overview

Flash in the Night is an evening running event held at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Ohio. It features two main distances: the Firefly 1-Mile run/walk and the Flash 5K run/walk.

Race Details

The courses use paved roads within the fairgrounds and are illuminated by luminaries and streetlights. Both races are professionally chip-timed by the organizing entity, GCXC Racing. Registration includes a shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal specific to each event. Packet pick-up takes place on race day at the Cattle Arena building within the fairgrounds.

Awards are presented for the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 1-Mile and 5K events. The 5K also awards the top three finishers in eight standard age groups.
