Distances

The event features two primary distances:

Firefly 1-Mile Run/Walk
Flash 5K Run/Walk

Registration Details

Registration includes an event shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. Participants in the 5K receive a Flash medal, while 1-mile participants receive a Firefly medal. The 5K registration price is $30, and the 1-mile is $25, with prices increasing after June 30, 2026.

Course and Timing

Both the 1-mile and 5K courses take place on paved roads within the Canfield Fairgrounds. The routes are illuminated by streetlights and luminaries. All races are professionally chip-timed.

Awards

Awards are given for the top three overall men and women in both the 1-mile and the 5K. The 5K also awards the top three finishers in multiple age groups, ranging from 14 & Under to 70 & Up.
