Firefly 2 Miler

The Firefly 2 Miler is an evening 2-mile run on May 9, 2026 at Lake Metropark, Lake Erie Bluffs in Perry, Ohio (3301 Lane Road, Perry, OH 44081). The event includes an in-person Firefly 2 Miler and a VIRTUAL Firefly 2 Miler. Runners are encouraged to wear glow gear, light-up accessories, and similar items; the event takes place after sunset and features a nighttime atmosphere.

Logistics

Registration price for each event is $25. In-person registration opens January 1, 2026 and the virtual registration opens January 26, 2026. Packet pick up is available Friday, May 8 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at Second Sole Mentor, and race day packet pick up will begin at Lake Erie Bluffs. All participants receive a custom race bib, a shirt, and a finisher medal. After the finish, the event includes music and refreshments. A course map is provided by the organizer.
