Event Details
The Firecracker 5K Little Elm takes place on July 4, 2026 in Little Elm, Texas. The event starts at a location on Lakefront Trail.
Available Events
Participants can choose from three events:
- Firecracker 5K Little Elm (5 km)
- Firecracker 1K Fun Run (1 km)
- Virtual Run
The 5K event is chip-timed and participants receive a bib with a disposable timing tag. The 1K fun run is not timed. Awards are given for the 5K, including top overall male and female finishers, top masters and grand masters, and age group winners. There are no awards for the 1K.
Race Day Information
A brunch is served after the events. The race encourages a headphone-free environment for safety. Strollers are permitted on the 5K course, but pets are not allowed. Pets are welcome in the 1K fun run. The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 years old; there is no minimum age for the 1K.
A Canine Costume Contest is held, with winners announced before the race.
Registration and Perks
All participants receive an exclusive finisher medal and a t-shirt. The brunch includes an All American hot dog and a beverage option for those over 21 (ID required). Virtual participants have their medals and shirts mailed after the race, with no packet pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
