Firecracker 5K Little Elm
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at the Lakefront Trail in Little Elm, Texas. It includes a chip timed 5K, an untimed short fun run that welcomes pets, and a virtual option with mailed swag.

Virtual participants do not have packet pickup; virtual shirts and medals are mailed the week after the race. Disposable timing tags are provided with bibs at packet pickup and 5K participants must wear their bib on the front for timing.
Safety and rules note that the use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged, no pets are allowed on the 5K per USATF safety rules, and strollers may be integrated safely into the event. Race management may change courses or plans for safety or production reasons.
Additional event services include brunch at Tower Tap House with a brunch pass that includes an all American hot dog and a beer or mimosa for participants 21 and older with ID.
