Firecracker 4-Miler - Canfield
Organized by the Canfield Parade Committee, Second Sole, and New Balance, this event takes place on July 4, 2026 in Canfield, Ohio. The event marks the nation’s 250th anniversary and includes multiple race options and a donation plus t-shirt option.

The kids race takes place around the green in Canfield; all finishers receive a medal. The primary race uses a four mile course in the Canfield area.
Registration for the main events opens March 1, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. The donation and t-shirt option opens June 22, 2026 and closes July 1, 2026. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 4 Mile, $3 for the kids run, and $0 for the donation/t-shirt option. All donations will go to the Midlothian Free Health Clinic.
Packet pickup is available at Second Sole on the days before the event, and packet pickup and registration are held at Canfield Township Hall on race day.
Awards include prizes for the top three male and female finishers, special awards for first Master runners (ages 40-49) and first Grand Master runners (ages 50-59), and plaques to the top three in each age group. Age groups for men and women are: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, and 80 & over.
