Fireball Classic Memorial Race : Ada, Oklahoma
The Fireball Classic Memorial Race takes place on July 4, 2026 at Wintersmith Park in Ada, Oklahoma (1621 Wintersmith Dr., Ada, OK 74820). The event offers multiple running options and a short kids race in the park setting around Wintersmith Lake.
Distances included:
- 10K out and back through Wintersmith Park and along Cradduck Road and Ahloso Road
- 5K scenic two-lap route around Wintersmith Lake, starting and finishing at Wintersmith Lodge
- 1.5 Miles Family Fun Run/Walk
- 200 Yards kids race for ages 10 and under
The 10K route is an out-and-back that uses local roads and park paths; course signs and volunteers mark key turns. The 5K consists of two full loops around the lake and returns to the lodge. Due to construction, the 2026 10K follows a revised out-and-back alignment similar to the prior year. The kids race is staged near Wintersmith Lodge and is intended for children ten and under.
Proceeds from the Fireball Classic support the Back to School Basics program organized by Ada Sunrise Rotary, which provides school supplies to area students. The event brings together runners, walkers, families, and community supporters for a holiday morning of activity within Wintersmith Park.
