FireAnt 5K & Tour de FireAnt Bike Ride
The 44th Annual FireAnt Festival in Marshall, Texas includes a community 5K road race and a multi-route bike ride presented as the 33rd Annual TourDeFireAnt. Events take place at 100 E Austin St, Marshall, TX.
Distances:
- FireAnt 5K : 3.1 miles
- Tour de FireAnt : route options of about 14 miles, 38 miles, and 100 kilometers
Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt and a swag bag. A prize drawing is scheduled following the events. Day-of registration will be held one block west of the courthouse behind the Roth Law Firm.
Food and on-course support are provided for participants. Breakfast tacos are available to registrants, and free street tacos and beer will be served in the late morning; beer is available only to participants aged 21 and over. The 5K course includes one water station. The bike routes include rest stops and portable toilets.
Fees differ for pre-registered and day-of entries: 5K pre-registered $20 / day $25; bike ride pre-registered $35 / day $40; 5K and bike combo pre-registered $50 / day $60. Pre-registered pricing applies if an entry is received by 10/01/26. No refunds will be made. Events will be held regardless of weather unless conditions are deemed hazardous by the City of Marshall Department of Emergency Management.
