Fire Fest Ultra - Logandale, NV
Fire Fest Ultra is a multiday trail running event held at the Logandale Trail System near Logandale, Nevada, adjacent to Valley of Fire State Park. The area contains many miles of trails, rock formations and historic petroglyphs. A nearby canyon feature called Mouse’s Tank has local historical significance. Local wildlife and plants in the area include bighorn sheep, desert tortoise, jackrabbit, coyote, bobcat, various lizards and snakes, yucca, creosote, desert paintbrush and prickly pear cactus.
The event spans two days and offers a wide range of race options. Participants may choose to run on Saturday or Sunday. Distances include:

- 100 kilometers
- 50 miles
- 50 kilometers
- 24-hour and 12-hour options
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10k
- 5k
- 1-mile kids run
Support on course includes aid stations stocked with water, Gatorade, gels, salty snacks, food and fruit; hot food is available for ultrarunners. Hot coffee and cocoa will be available, including during nighttime hours. Camping is permitted at the trail system without RV hookups; an on-site staging area is used for packet pickup. Valley of Fire State Park charges parking fees per vehicle; overflow parking is located about half a mile before the main staging area.
Race logistics note cut off times for longer distances: 100M and 100k 35 hours, 50M 25 hours, 50k 15 hours for Saturday. Virtual entrants can submit times for inclusion and will be mailed a shirt and medal. If the event is canceled or postponed, entries are transferable to another Triple Dare Running event; refunds are not issued, and no refunds are given within 30 days of the event.
