Finger Lakes Triathlon Cayuga

Finger Lakes Triathlon Cayuga is scheduled for July 25, 2027 at Taughannock Falls State Park in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The event uses Cayuga Lake for swim segments and park roads and trails for bike and run segments. The park includes public swimming, a beach, a playground, shaded picnic areas, hiking trails, a marina with a boat ramp, and options for tent, RV and cabin camping.

Swims take place in Cayuga Lake on out and back courses from the south shore of the park. Bike courses for the main distances head north on New York State Route 89 with specified turnarounds before returning to the park. Run courses are within Taughannock Falls State Park and include loops that go up the Gorges Trail toward the falls while generally following the park base trail.

Relay teams may split the intermediate or sprint triathlon segments between two or three members. An aquabike option is offered for the intermediate distance that includes swim and bike only. Maps provided by the organizer are indicative; actual race routes are measured precisely. The event includes youth races with smaller distances designed for younger age groups.
