Finch Hatton - Flowing Trails (19 July 2026)
Finch Hatton - Flowing Trails is event 4 of a 5-event Trail Run Series held at Finch Hatton MTB Trails, Anzac Parade, Finch Hatton in Mackay's Pioneer Valley. The event date is Sunday 19 July 2026. Distances offered are:

Registration fees start from $25. Entry fees vary by course length. Early bird pricing ends 11 May 2026; late fees begin 12 July 2026. Transfers and changes are allowed up to 14 days before the event for a $20 administration fee. Registrations are non-transferable within 14 days of the event. Refunds are not available; if the event is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, entrants receive a credit valid for 12 months.
Course format, safety and rules
All runners pass through the start/finish line every 6 km at the trail head. The course is clearly marked with signage, arrows and caution tape. One water station is available at the start/finish line and can be used every lap. Toilets and showers are available at the start/finish area.
Mandatory gear to be carried for the duration of the run includes a compression bandage, a fully charged phone, a whistle, the race bib, and sufficient water and nutrition. Marshals and a safety vehicle with first aid are on course. Race rules include: registered athletes only, bib worn on the front, no shortcuts, and respect for other users and the environment.
Categories, awards and series points
Top three male and female finishers are presented for each distance on the day. Prize money is awarded for first to third places in each course (long, mid, short) with amounts listed by place. Age groups are defined for competition and points accumulate across the five-event series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
