Finberg Family 5K Run/Walk
The Finberg Family 5K Run/Walk takes place at the Norton Outdoor Center, which serves as the permanent home of Camp Finberg in Norton, Massachusetts. This inaugural event features a course designed as a 5-kilometer loop route that traverses the grounds of the camp. The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine.
Participants have the following distance option:
- 5 km Run/Walk
All registered participants receive an event shirt. Those who register at least three weeks before the race date will have their name printed on their bib. The registration process allows individuals to form teams with friends or family, and results are provided through live online tracking, email, and text notifications. Finish line photos and videos are also available at no additional cost.
The event proceeds support Camp Finberg, a local YMCA summer camp that has been active in the Norton community for a century. Recognition is provided for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age categories ranging from 14 and under up to 90 and over.
