Fillmore 5K : Moravia, NY
The Fillmore 5K is a flat, one-loop road race held in downtown Moravia and the surrounding rural area. The 3.1-mile course moves through village streets and nearby country roads, and is described as well-marked and well-staffed with one water stop roughly midway.
Race operations include bib pickup at the Moravia Central School District track at 68 S Main Street, with free parking available at the elementary school or high school and a short walk to the track behind the elementary school.
Online registration is required. The standard entry fee is $25 with a $5 deduction for Finger Lakes Runners Club members; runners 18 and under may register free. A coupon code is available to waive the entry fee for those with financial need. There is no in-person registration at the event.
Awards are given to top finishers in Open and Masters divisions by male, female, and nonbinary categories, plus age-group awards for the listed age brackets; the top three nonbinary runners receive the same recognition as age-group winners. Post-race snacks and drinks are provided. Restrooms and changing facilities are available but there are no showers. Results are posted on Webscorer and the FLRC website. All profits benefit the Four Town First Aid Squad, Inc. The event is organized by the Finger Lakes Runners Club and insured by the Road Runners Club of America.
