Fifth Season Races 2026
The Fifth Season Races take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on July 4, 2026 with the event center at Greene Square Park. The program includes adult road races and two separate kids races for younger participants.

Registration fees for the adult races vary by date. The 8K lists early, regular, and late fees at $40, $45, and $50 respectively. The 5K lists early, regular, and late fees at $35, $40, and $45 respectively. Race switches and transfers have additional fees and a transfer code is required to transfer into an entry. Group or family registration allows up to six people in one transaction.
There will be no race day registration or packet pick up for any races. Finisher medals are provided for 8K and 5K participants; medals are also provided for kids who enter. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by June 5. Kids races will not use chip timing; parents may run with children and strollers are welcome, but pets are not allowed.
Course notes: the 8K is an out and back route starting near the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art and turning around in Bever Park, with a downhill finish near Greene Square Park. The 5K follows the same course with an earlier turnaround on Grand Avenue. Race results and photos are posted at the event and on the listed online results pages.
