Fiesta Night Run : San Antonio, TX
The Fiesta Night Run takes place at the Land Heritage Institute near San Antonio on August 1, 2026. The event uses dirt singletrack and wider trail sections on the institute's trail network and lists the following distances:
- 5K
- 17K
- 35K
- 50K
- 17K RUCK
The course includes a 10.5-mile loop with about 300 feet of elevation gain. Night conditions are a feature of the event and historic nighttime temperatures are noted in the range of 76 to 97 degrees.
Required equipment and race support are specified for all participants. A headlamp is required for all distances. A water carrying system is mandatory with a 16-ounce minimum for all events except the 5K; some ruck events list a minimum carried weight (for example, a 10K ruck is listed with a 25-pound minimum). Aid stations are located on the course (Main Aid Station at mile 0/10.3 and Homestead Aid Station at mile 4.4/8.6) and offer cold foods, snacks, water, electrolytes, pickle juice, and ice. Drop bag transport is not available but participants may place drop bags at the start/finish area.
