FDA Classic

FDA Classic - White Oak campus

The FDA Classic takes place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the White Oak campus in Silver Spring, Maryland (10903 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20993). This is the 19th annual running of the event. Opening remarks will occur at the Building 1 circle. The event is part of FDA Spirit Day and will include additional activities and food on campus.

Events, registration and on-site details

• 5K - Timed, with an official runner’s bib issued to participants. A registration fee applies.
• 2.5K - Walk - Untimed; no registration fee, but registration is required.

Registration is open and closes on October 16, 2025. Remote FDA employees outside the local commuting area are invited to participate virtually by walking, rolling, or running in their own communities. On-site activities include games on the White Oak Campus Quad (between Buildings 32 and 22), opportunities to wear vintage FDA White Oak Classic T-shirts, and a suggestion to wear pink in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. The FDA Classic and FDA Spirit Day are sponsored by the Office of Operations Offices and the FDA Alumni Association.
