Associated Churches Father's Day 5K - Fort Wayne
The Associated Churches Father's Day 5K takes place on June 20, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with a 3.1 mile route that passes downtown, goes through the Lakeside Park area, and returns to Associated Churches at 602 East Wayne Street. This is the event's tenth annual edition and is a Fort Wayne Running Club points race.
The event format includes options to walk, run, or ruck, and features a free kids fun run held before the 5K. Ruck participants are asked to carry about 10 pounds of baby item donations such as diapers or wipes; ruckers will be included in a separate award category. Awards are planned for the top male and female runners in each age group.
Registration opens January 28, 2026, and closes June 18, 2026. Advanced pricing is free for children 9 and under, $20 for ages 10 to 15, and $25 for ages 16 and up. Late registration is $35 beginning June 10 for all registrants. Church and business teams have a $20 per person rate with registration deadlines on June 10. Registrants who register by May 27 are guaranteed a t-shirt; only 5K registrants are eligible for shirts.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at the Wolf Mission House of Associated Churches (624 E. Wayne St.) and on race day at the same location. There is an option to add a father figure's name to the race shirt for $100 with a May 27 deadline. Kids may run the 5K without timing for free; timed participation or a shirt requires registration. Bicycles, scooters, dogs, strollers, and walkers are allowed on course. Proceeds will benefit Associated Churches programs A Baby's Closet and Military Families.
