Farnborough Winter Half Marathon
The Farnborough Winter Half Marathon is an early February road race organised by 209 Events that starts and finishes at the historic Airship Hangar adjacent to Farnborough Airport. The course is closed to traffic, largely flat and rural in character, and follows a traffic-free route.

The event is UKA licensed and limited to 3000 entries. Standard entry prices for 2026 are listed as £40 for UKA affiliated runners and £42 for unaffiliated runners; charity places are also available with separate fundraising conditions. Minimum age for the half marathon is 17 years; children under 5 must be accompanied for the kids run.
Race services include finisher medals, a memento and goodie bag, three water stations on course, free digital race photos, full medical cover, secure baggage storage and on-site toilets. Prize-giving is held for the first three male and female finishers, with masters prizes awarded by age groups (40, 50, 60, 70+); prizes comprise commemorative wooden trophies and product vouchers.
Refunds are not provided after entry, but transfers or deferrals are permitted with advance notice. If the event is cancelled for specified reasons, entrants may be eligible for a refund. The organisers review the course periodically; a 2025 change replaced one stretch with an out-and-back along Laffans Lane while further adjustments are being considered.
