Farmville 5k & Fun Run
The Farmville 5K & Fun Run takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Farmville Town Commons, 3672 North Main Street, Farmville, NC. The event is supported by Farmville Parks & Recreation.
The 5K course starts and finishes at the Town Common and runs along Farmville’s athletic field, golf course, library, and arboretum, passing through both newer and historic neighborhoods. The Fun Run follows the first 1.2 miles of the 5K course and then turns toward the finish at the Town Common.

The 5K will be chip timed by Run the East LLC using disposable chips attached to each race bib. The Fun Run will not be chip timed. An event t-shirt in the participant's preferred size is guaranteed for registrations completed by April 23, 2026. All 5K finishers receive a finisher medal. Registration fees are non refundable and the event will occur rain or shine.
There are two opportunities to pick up registration packets and bibs: an early packet pickup at the Farmville Community Center, 3886 South Main Street, and a same day pickup at the Farmville Town Common. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female overall and to the top three male and female in designated age groups. The award ceremony will take place in the Town Common gazebo after the last participant crosses the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
