About the race
The Farmington Fondo & Frolic takes place on September 26, 2026, with all events starting and finishing at Farmington Regional Park in Farmington, Utah. The day combines non competitive cycling tours and timed running races, with aid stations and on course support.
Cycling distances include:
- 100 miles
- Metric Century (62 miles)
- 30 mile ride
Cycling routes use two main segments that begin and end at the regional park. Route 1 is a 25 mile out and back ride along the foothills near Farmington, Fruit Heights, and Layton. Route 2 is a 75 mile route to Antelope Island and back. The 100 mile route reaches Antelope Island, while the 30 mile and metric century routes turn around prior to the causeway. The cycling events are presented as touring rides rather than races.
Running races include:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
All running events are out and back on the local trail system, heading south from the regional park and merging onto paved trails toward Centerville and back. The running races are timed and include overall and age division awards. Aid stations on the run courses are spaced approximately every 3 miles.
On the bike courses there are four aid stations and moto and support trucks will patrol the routes for minor mechanical assistance. Packet pickup is to be announced. A portion of entry fees supports the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Entry items include a finisher medal, t shirt, souvenir glass, trainer towel, supported aid stations, and finish line food and giveaways.
