Farm Strong Team of 3 - Rocky Mount, VA
August 1, 2026 at Franklin County Parks & Recreation, 2150 Sontag Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The event is organized as a team competition with teams of three.
Teams must start and finish together and remain side by side on the course. Only one team member is required to complete any given obstacle, and team members may alternate completing individual obstacles as needed.
The course is farm work inspired and includes more than 20 obstacles. New 2026 elements include large machinery and a hay pyramid. Returning course elements listed for the event include farmers ford, hay bale hurdles, five gallon bucket fill, tire flip, sandbag haul, low crawl, balance block, farmers carry, and tractor climb.
The registration fee is $75 and includes a chip timed entry, a Farm Strong logo t-shirt, and live bluegrass music from Mason Creek. Registrations submitted after July 13 are not guaranteed a shirt. The pre-registration deadline is July 30. No team onsite registration is allowed; only individual registration is permitted on the day of the event.
Awards are issued three deep for male and female age and weight specific categories. A modified kids obstacle course is offered for ages 12 and under at no charge and is located near the main event area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
