Farm Strong Team of 4 - Rocky Mount, VA
Farm Strong Team of 4 takes place on August 1, 2026 at Franklin County Parks and Recreation, 2150 Sontag Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The event is a farm work inspired obstacle course with more than 20 elements that include new 2026 additions such as large machinery and a hay pyramid.
Teams of four must start and finish together and stay side by side on the course. Only one team member is required to complete each obstacle, and team members may alternate who performs individual obstacles. Course elements named for reference include Farmers ford, hay bale hurdles, 5 gallon bucket fill, tire flip, sandbag haul, low crawl, balance block, farmers carry, and tractor climb.
The registration fee is $100 and covers chip timing, a Farm Strong logo t-shirt, and live bluegrass music from Mason Creek. Registrations after July 13 are not guaranteed a shirt. Pre-registration closes on July 30. No team on-site registration is allowed; only individual day-of registration is permitted.
Awards are given three deep in male and female age categories. A separate kids OCR for ages 12 and under is offered as an individually timed event and is free of charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
