The path continues around Bendel Pond and leads up to the Bendel Mansion, which features lion statues and an Italian Renaissance fountain. The layout also incorporates the wooded trails of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center and crosses over Otter Bridge.
For younger participants, the 0.3 Miles Kids Fun Run is open to children ages 5 and older. This route leads past farm animals including a Scottish Highland cow. Additionally, a free educational drop-off service is provided for children over the age of 4 during the 5K race. This supervised area includes arts, crafts, and games.
