Fargo Mini Marathon : October 16 and 17, 2026
The Fargo Mini Marathon is a two day running event centered at the Fargo Civic Center, 207 4th St. N., Fargo, ND 58102. The weekend program includes a Friday night 5K and Saturday 10K and half marathon, with the start and finish inside the Civic Center and most of the course routed along the Red River bike paths.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
There are combined entries that pair the Friday 5K with a Saturday race and provide a stated registration discount. Registration opens January 1, 2026; the 10K and Half Marathon registrations close June 1, 2026, and the 5K registration closes August 4, 2026. Published entry fees differ by distance and by combined entry.
The Fargo Mini also supports the Mark Knutson Shoes for Kids Legacy Fund as part of its community activities. The Friday night 5K traditionally has a festive, costume friendly atmosphere, while Saturday offers the longer road race distances on the well marked and supported course.
