Free MAGnet 1 Mile Family Fun Run
The event is a free, self timed 1 Mile family fun run sponsored by MAGnet-HCCN and Coastal Family Health Center. It starts and finishes at Blaylock Park, 100 S 3rd St, Wiggins, MS 39577. Participants receive commemorative race bibs, participation medals, and healthy snacks and drinks. A pre race meeting will cover the race route.
The run takes place alongside Wiggins Family Health & Wellness Day at Blaylock Park. The wider community program includes food trucks, community vendors with interactive health and nutrition stations, guest speakers on wellness topics, a mental health self care station, workshops on martial arts, dance, CPR and other skills, health screenings, and Coastal Family Health Center’s medical mobile unit with walk in primary care visits available. The event is described as a community health and wellness gathering that combines a short recreational run with on site health resources and activities for families.
