Fallin' Blackbird 5k
The Fallin' Blackbird 5k is scheduled for October 17, 2026 in Beebe, Arkansas at 102 North Main St, 72012. The event is organized as an annual fundraiser by the Beebe Chamber of Commerce; proceeds support community events and scholarships for Beebe students.
There are two options:
- In-person 5k: 3.1 Miles
- Virtual 5k: 3.1 Miles
Registration for the in-person race opens June 30, 2026 and closes October 17, 2026. Registration for the virtual option opens August 26, 2026 and closes October 15, 2026. The registration fee for each option is $40. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Race management notes that the event is held in all weather. In case of thunderstorms the in-person race may be delayed or converted to a virtual format. The in-person race will be professionally timed by MacDonald Timing. Finishers receive a race t-shirt and a medal, and placement medals will be awarded in several age categories. For virtual participants times do not qualify for placements; medals and shirts must be collected locally or shipped at the participant's cost. Event updates are posted on the event Facebook page.
