Fallen Officers Memorial 5K
The Annual Fallen Officers Memorial 5K is presented by the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) Utah Chapter as a community run/walk on August 29, 2026 at Draper Park, 12500 S 1300 E, Draper, UT 84020. The event provides an opportunity for the community to show support for law enforcement officers and for the families and co-workers of officers killed in the line of duty.
Proceeds from the event support families and co-workers of fallen officers throughout the state of Utah. C.O.P.S. states its mission as providing resources to help rebuild the lives of surviving family members and affected co-workers, and offering training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues.
C.O.P.S. runs programs and services funded by grants and donations. Programs for survivors include the National Police Survivors' Conference held each May during National Police Week, scholarships, peer support at national, state, and local levels, the C.O.P.S. Kids counseling reimbursement program, a C.O.P.S. Kids Summer Camp, the C.O.P.S. Teens Outward Bound experience, special retreats for family members and co-workers, and trial and parole support.
