Faj Squad 5K
The Faj Squad 5K is a five kilometer road event held on June 27, 2026 in Dubuque, Iowa. The course starts and finishes at Theisen's Supply, 6201 Chavenelle Drive, and includes both in-person and virtual participation options.
The event is organized by the Michael W. Oglesby Foundation. Proceeds benefit pancreatic cancer research and the foundation is registered as a 501 c 3 nonprofit. Post-race fundraising activities are part of the event program and have included a silent auction, food and drink offerings.
Race categories cover a range of participants and abilities and include a virtual run or walk, adult timed 5K run, adult 5K walk, timed 5K run for 12 and under, 5K walk for 12 and under, and a Pancreatic Cancer Survivor category. Virtual participants will be sent a t-shirt after completing their virtual entry. Cash prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners and there is an award for Best Purple Swag.
