The course begins at the intersection of Main Street and South Railroad Avenue. Participants head south from the start, turning left onto Gov Moore Street and then right onto Truax Road. The route proceeds for 1.5 miles southeast on Truax Road to a turnaround point located at the bottom of a hill near the cemetery. After the turnaround, runners return northwest on Truax Road and then veer north onto McNeil Avenue for two blocks before returning to Main Street. The finish line is located at the original starting point at Main Street and Railroad Avenue.
Check-in and packet pick-up take place on the day of the event at the Thiel Park Gazebo, which is situated at the intersection of 1st Street and East Main Street. Limited street parking is available near the start and finish area. Registration options include a choice between an entry that includes a commemorative shirt and a reduced-cost option for those who do not wish to receive one.
