Fairfax USA Days Bridge The Community 5K
The event takes place on June 27, 2026 at the Fairfax Regional Sports Complex, 625 Linn St, Fairfax, IA. The 5K uses a new course and a new starting location for 2026. The course is described as nearly flat with a mix of solid surface and gravel roads.
The race is professionally timed and results will be uploaded by the end of the day. Awards are offered to top finishers in men's and women's age categories. The route will be marked with directional signs and volunteers will be positioned at key intersections to guide participants. A manned water station will be located at the half-way point.
Entry fees differ for online preregistration and day-of registration. Online preregistration fees are listed for adults/teens and for kids 12 and under, and online registration closes the day before the event. Day-of registration fees are higher for the same categories.
All race proceeds will benefit Fairfax Lions Club community initiatives. A free Kids Fun Run follows the 5K; that run is not timed and is intended to encourage youth participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
