The event offers two 10 km timed options:
- A 10K Run.
- A 10K Ruck.
Location and Parking
The event takes place in Fulshear, Texas, using the Cross Creek area. The meet location is The Fields at Pine Park. Parking is available at Pine Park or Adams Junior High. Participants park on the east side of Cross Creek Bend Lane and walk across to the start/finish area.
Course Description
The course is a time-trial format 10 km loop on the sidewalks inside the Cross Creek loop. The loop is run in a counter-clockwise direction. The start is about 400 meters west of the parking lot on a pathway. The course is not closed to traffic. Participants are advised to yield to vehicles and should not assume drivers have seen them. Reflective gear and lights are highly recommended, and headphones are not recommended. Participants are also advised to carry their own hydration and nutrition.
Logistics
Race bibs are assigned and picked up on the morning of the event. The start/finish area has no washroom facilities. Proceeds from the event are donated to TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue) and help cover event costs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
