Event Details
The Estuary Half Marathon is a running event held in Labasheeda, County Clare. The event is organized by the Labasheeda Community Centre. The start and finish point is on Main Street in the village, at the Labasheeda Community Centre.
Course
The course follows a route along the Shannon Estuary. It is described as a scenic road race with views of the estuary. The route features rolling roads and heads in the direction of Kildysart.
Amenities and Prizes
The event provides water stations along the route. Monetary prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Age category medals are awarded for participants aged 40+, 50+, 60+, and 65+, in accordance with Clare Athletics categories. Post-race, there are refreshments available at the community centre.
Logistics
